This Halloween, step into the cathedral of chaos. The Bishop’s Breakdown is serving up a daylight disco mass of alternative anthems, rock’n’roll rituals, and spooky grooves guaranteed to raise the spirits (literally).

Actress & Bishop FAQs:Is there a dress code?We want you to feel comfortable during your visit to The Actress so there is no strict dress code. However we do ask you to remove caps and hoods inside the venue. The vibe is generally smart casual with many choosing to dress up on a weekend.What music do the DJ’s play?We’re well known for our music! Prepare to be taking through the decades of indie, new wave, ska & northern soul with a sprinkling of rock, pop and dance. There is something for everyone, but guitar music is at our core.Is there a smoking area?Yes there is, we have a well lit seated area at the front of the venue.Is there on site parking?We do not have a car park but on road parking is widely available. Costs may vary but it is free after 6pm.Do you allow under 18’s at the venue?Under 18’s are welcome until 8pm.Do you do food?We do not currently do food but there are a number of eateries close by should you want to grab a bite before a gig or join us for drinks after.Is your venue accessible?Our main bar/gig room is situated on the ground floor and is accessible for all. Our upstairs bar/gig room is on the first floor which is only accessible via stairs. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
